How could the space of via Veterani dello Sport change? How can we make it more welcoming, a better place to spend time?
The participatory design workshops are open meetings where residents and designers will work together on a light transformation of a stretch of via Veterani dello Sport, in front of the Emporio Solidale, starting from the experience of the people who use it and from the ideas gathered in the neighbourhood. With the support of orizzontale, technical advisor to the project, we will think together about how to organise and change the area in practice: what is needed, what could change, what is already there and which solutions would suit the people who spend time here.
The proposals developed during the meetings will be the basis for the redesign of the space. What emerges will be turned into physical work: new furniture, seating, planters, shaded areas and other elements to make the space fit those who use it every day.
